We continue to closely monitor the evolving situation with the Novel Coronavirus. The health and safety of our patients, our team, and those in our community is of utmost importance to us. We consider it our responsibility and obligation to do all that we can to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
As Oceanview Oral Surgery was designated to provide urgent/emergent care during phase 1 of the COVID-19 pandemic, we implemented stringent new protocols during that time based on the recommendations of the BC Centre for Disease Control. Although we have always strictly followed the infection control guidelines set out by the College of Dental Surgeons of BC, we have enhanced all safety protocols throughout our clinic. We continue to closely follow and implement every recommendation as indicated by the BCCDC, CDSBC, and WorkSafe BC.
All employees are screened daily for COVID-19 symptoms and risk factors.
We are practicing social distancing within our clinic, utilizing masks and glass barriers, and have implemented enhanced PPE (personal protective equipment). In addition, our clinic has installed UV sanitation into our air circulation system.
Our waiting room has been reconfigured for your comfort and safety.
Please ensure your patient information has been filled out and submitted to us prior to your appointment. We ask that you attend your appointment at your scheduled time, no earlier. If you are having an appointment requiring a driver, we will provide them with a pager to prevent persons waiting in our reception area. Your driver will be notified when you are ready for discharge.
Rest assured your safety, and the safety of our staff is our highest priority.
We look forward to providing you with the care you deserve! If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office, and one of our staff members will be more than happy to assist you.
Thank you for your continued trust,
Dr. Andreas Conradi and Team
